Weil am Rhein and surroundings

Weil am Rhein

Leisure, excursions and activities in the tri-country region spanning Germany, France and Switzerland.

Weil am Rhein is the most northerly suburb of the Basel metropolitan region, and lies on the southern fringes of the Black Forest. All guests to our region can look forward to plenty of sporting activities as well as wellness options and cultural events.

Our hotel is very conveniently situated, and guests can access the three countries quickly and easily by car or rail. The banks of the Rhine are perfect for leisurely strolls, while the foothills of the Black Forest are just a short car drive away. Art aficionados from all over the world flock to visit popular sights such as the Vitra Campus with the Vitra Design Museum. Basel city centre is just five kilometres to the south, while the town itself is bordered by the orchards and fields of the Wiesental valley. The Black Forest’s low mountain ranges are as popular with hikers and cyclists as the higher ridges of the nearby Swiss Jura region.
